Why I didn't rank high on Google?

Readers who have read 'How to rank high on Google', would ask now:

Why the blog post didn't ranked high as I predicted, it's just ranking 5th for the term.
The answer is so simple : I did optimize the page, but no the blog.
Google rule is very simple.
As more simple it is, the more better it does
And this is why yesterday I come up and fetched the blog source code.
The sidebar widget is affecting negatively my blog, because it preceed the post and there's more than 30 Javascript code.

I noticed this with Google APS, a simple website who ranked quickly for the term 'Google APS' just because I created a cleaner template with less widgets (no at all) and scripts.
If widgets are vital for your blog, then there's only one solution : Move to Wordpress
The advantage on Wordpress is that it uses PHP, PHP is compiled before Google crawl the blog, then no long Javascript snippets.
But if you want to use Wordpress, then you should affrod some hosting costs and I don't recommand free hostings at all!!

Keep up with the blog, I'm going to update this post to tell you about the results of my experiment, it may takes a week or two
