Web Nudge

I have more than 1 month (you can say 1 and half) that I started this blog. I'm today searching the results of those 44 days of work in the sector of "Blogging". To start, I choose to see my website popularity, then I wanted to see the earnings and if my blog really generated money.

I use only Google Adsense to advertise on my blog, because I don't have a Page Rank yet, I could not make money by selling links.

However I decided to not to do, I use only publishers like Adsense, I'll also be interested on other publishers in the next few days. But let's first check the Google Adsense earnings report.

I show here only the earnings, because the rest is prohibited by the Google Adsense TOS.
If you don't see clearly the picture, then there's two line, one for my "Online Generate" which is my different earnings from websites or forum that shares earnings with users. The other line is Spring Of life, the current blog, that you are reading :)
My Online Generate was $26.51 Vs. $13.25 (in June) and Spring Of Life is $25.46 Vs. $8.66 in June.

The money I made is so little for me, as I have made a good optimization of keywords, I think so!! But what to do??? Here's I was focusing on solutions.

1- Change my template
Changing my template may be good by finding Adsense ready templates, that are optimized and made especially for text links ads. In the current template I'm using two Adsense banner in the top and the bottom of each post. Integrating the Ads this way, won't mean that I'll get more clicks. Adsense optimized templates may be a good solution

2- Increase my traffic
I'm getting a slow traffic, that's sure, increasing it will increase my earnings that's sure also. My traffic depends especially on Google for this blog. What if I search to improve it?
In june I made the following analytics (not exactly but probably)
Traffic From / Pourcentage
june : Social Websites / 70%
July : Google / 87% !!! (so dependant)
Traffic from social websites dropped, I don't submit to digg don't shout, don't reddit...
So here's the solutions so far:
+ Submit to Digg, Stumble Upon, Reddit, Mixx...
+ Working more on EntreCard, Mybloglog, Blog Catalog...
+ Submitting my blog, every day to 3 blog directories.

3- using affiliates!
I told you about affiliates in the last post. It's a great way to make more with less traffic. The important is to know what your traffic loves! And to put the right affiliate.
